La Lecciaia - Orvieto Classico - 2024
Vinification
Taking its name from the fortified town of Orvieto, this wine is made with Grechetto, Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes. The "Classico" appellation is given only to Orvieto wine produced in the oldest production zone. Soft-crushed grapes and free-run must are processed at low temperatures. Clarification at controlled temperature (14/15 Celsius). The clean product is filtered and fermented at 16-18 Celsius. When fermentation is perfect the wine is stored underground at a constant low temperature tanks before bottling.
Tasting Notes
This dry crisp wine takes its name from the fortified town of Orvieto. La Lecciaia Orvieto has a classic smooth finish and is produced in the “Classico†growing area.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with grilled white fish, shrimp, shellfish, and light seafood pasta. It also complements herb-roasted chicken, fresh salads, mild cheeses, and vegetable-based dishes, making it an excellent match for Mediterranean cuisine.
