Product Ratings
Wine Enthusiast 96pt

A fresh, invigorating nose of new car, crushed herbs, wet slate, moss, cracked black pepper and tart blackberries leads into a palate where sweet blackberries and dark chocolate join continuing earthy, umami notes. Firm but flexible tannins create a silky, fluid mouthfeel.

by Wine Enthusiast, 2025
James Suckling 93pt

Deep-set aromas of berries and cherries with notes of nutshells and lightly bitter herbs and spices. Medium- to full-bodied with lightly firm, fine tannins and a long, savory finish. The slight bitter edge accompanies the wine throughout, though not in any unpleasant way. From organically grown grapes.

Vinous Media 93+pt

The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Capriolo opens with a rich blend of mentholated herbs and spice, giving way to dried cherries and roses. This is racy and sleek with cooling minerality and juicy acidity that easily propels its ripe wild berry fruits across the palate. It finishes tannic and long, yet not severe, leaving licorice and violet inner florals to fade slowly.
