Ripe red and black currants, leafy tobacco, and loamy earthy notes all emerge from the 2022 Les Fiefs De Lagrange, a charming, medium to full-bodied, round, layered second wine that has ripe tannins, a layered, balanced mouthfeel, and a great finish.

A good Les Fiefs de Lagrange that's fruitier than the grand vin on the palate but remains demure and layered on the nose, showing a full picture of Bordeaux Left Bank complexity with currants, paprika, cocoa powder, cedar and fine spices. Fruity and round, this has judicious tannins and a refined, lengthy finish. Bravo for this producer! Really pleasant now but will hold.
