Bright strawberries and fresh cherries - this bursts on the palate with freshly picked summer berries and high, almost citric acidity that gives a buzz to the expression. This is all about the energy and lift as opposed to power and strength. A really enjoyable and drinkable wine with well-integrated tannins and gorgeous salty undercurrents. I love the cool mint aspects too. In a blind tasting this wouldn't be an obvious pick from 2022.

A touch of black bean puree to the ripe dark cherries and grilled herbs. Medium-bodied on the palate with juicy fruit, round tannins and a pretty flavorful, lengthy finish.

Warmed cassis and plum compote notes give this a forward and generous feel, while singed apple wood, dried anise and violet, plus a perfumed hint on the finish, display a textbook St.-Julien profile. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
