Product Ratings
Jeb Dunnuck 92pt

Coming from very old vines in the Pessac-Leognan region and based on 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, the 2021 Chateau Lespault-Martillac Blanc offers up a rocking bouquet of ripe lemon, honeyed grapefruit, and sappy, white flower-like nuances. With medium-bodied richness, terrific purity, integrated acidity, and a great finish, it's another lively, crisp, age-worthy white in the vintage. It should have 10-12 years of prime drinking.

James Suckling 93pt

The flinty undertone to the lemon rind and cooked apple with pear character is very attractive. Medium to full body, fresh and lively, with a brightness and real Pessac flavors. Drink or hold.

Vinous Media 92pt

The 2021 Lespault-Martillac Blanc is a powerful dry white with an almost phenolic feel. Lemon peel, sage, mint and yellow flowers lend notable complexity. There is a bit of firmness here, but all the elements are nicely balanced. The 2021 is more muscle than finesse, but it works.
