Medium-bodied and crunchy with blue-fruited character. Notes of violets and crushed stones. Firm tannins with a velvety mouthfeel. Vibrant and fresh with mineral undertones.

The 2022 S de Siran, a powerful, dense second wine, is terrific. Ripe dark cherry, plum, leather, licorice and tobacco are all dialed up in this decidedly extroverted Margaux. This is impressive.

Fresh and juicy, with lightly singed tobacco and cedar accents flanking a core of accessible black cherry and bitter plum compote flavors. A hint of scorched earth adds pleasant rusticity on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
