Black cherry, walnut, mocha and dried earth on the nose. Some iodine, too. It's medium-to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Soft and flavorful. Ripe at the end. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet sauvignon.

Unusually for the Medoc, this wine is packed with Merlot, with just a light addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. That gives richness, still firm tannins and a jammy black-fruit character. Full, ripe and juicy, the wine will likely be ready from 2024.
